Hospitality Europe is one of our Institutional Relations. It is an intermediary office based in Brussels that comprises the Institutions in the EU from St John of God Hospitaller Order and Sisters Hospitallers.
The creation of this office in Brussels was discussed by Hospitallers and collaborators in the European Regional Conference in 2008. After that, it was deliberated in the Conference of Ireland in 2011. From the beginning, the Order was open to collaborations with other institutions in the sector. Subsequently, Sisters Hospitallers joined the initiative in August 2013.
The purpose of this strategic decision, therefore, is to intensify the cooperation between these Congregations. Furthermore, to have a specific “informative channel” for joint programmes and initiatives.
