Our centres enjoyed the Feast of our founder that this year had the theme of “We are hospitality”

Yesterday was a very important day for our community. We celebrated the Feast of our founder St Bennedict Menni. He founded Sisters Hospitallers back in 1881, as a respond to the poor and unfair treatment that mentally ill women were receiving from the healthcare system in specific, and society in general.
From an early age, he dedicated his life to the sick and needy, especially those living with a mental illness.
In fact, he combined science and religion to offer holistic care to the patients… A true pioneer of the time!
From Sisters Hospitallers we have prepared a very special video that reminds us our main value, hospitality.
We hope you enjoy it very much!

The feast in our centres

This very special day deserved an important celebration and this is exactly what happened. St Benedict Menni was the protagonist of the day in all of our centres.

Our staff, residents, and Sisters spent time together with the main goal of paying tribute to our founder.

Check the below galery with some of the best moments of the day!
