A time of encounter, reflection and shared mission within the English Delegation

The Canonical Visit to the English Delegation continues with the recent days of encounter in London, where the Sisters Hospitallers community has welcomed this important moment in the life of the Congregation.

Following the visits to other communities, this stage has been lived as a time of listening, reflection and shared experience, strengthening the bonds of communion and deepening the understanding of the mission in each local context.

Throughout the visit, the sisters have shared moments of dialogue and reflection, creating space to review community life, to listen to one another and to continue discerning together the path forward. These encounters are an opportunity to recognise the richness of each community and to renew the commitment to live the Hospitaller charism with authenticity and dedication.

The visit has also included opportunities to engage with the reality of the centre, meeting residents, staff and collaborators, and recognising the daily work that sustains the mission of care, dignity and hospitality.

As in the other stages of the Canonical Visit, prayer has been at the heart of these days. The presence of the Heart of Jesus continues to guide this journey, inviting each sister and each community to return to what is essential, to deepen their relationship with God and to renew their commitment to service.

This time in London forms part of a wider journey being lived across the Delegation, both in the United Kingdom and in Africa, as the Congregation continues to walk together in a spirit of renewal, communion and mission.
