In 1881, a seed of compassion was planted — one that would grow into a global mission of healing and hospitality. Today, we celebrate 144 years of the Sisters Hospitallers, a congregation dedicated to serving the most vulnerable with unwavering love, dignity, and hope.
From the beginning, our mission has been inspired by the Gospel and shaped by the charism of our founders. With open hearts and hands, the Sisters have cared for the mentally ill, the elderly, the poor, and the abandoned — always recognizing the presence of Christ in those we serve.
To mark this meaningful anniversary, we have created a dedicated website that brings together our past, present, and future as Sisters Hospitallers. It is a space of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment — highlighting the values that have carried us through more than a century of service.
As part of this celebration, we are also pleased to share a special podcast episode, inviting listeners to reconnect with the heart of our mission. The episode explores the meaning of hospitality today and the enduring relevance of our vocation in a world still in need of care and healing.

This anniversary is not just a moment to look back — it is a call to move forward with renewed faith and deeper trust. As we reflect on all that has been, we also open ourselves to what is to come, confident that our mission remains as vital today as it was 144 years ago.
We thank our Sisters, collaborators, benefactors, and all those who walk with us in this journey of love and service. May we continue to live out our calling with courage, humility, and joy.
“Let us continue to trust… without fearing anything!”
