Recognising the dedication and generosity of our volunteers across every centre of the English Delegation

Today, on International Volunteer Day, we celebrate the commitment and generosity of our volunteers. Your time, your skills, and your dedication make a real difference in the lives of the people we care for.

At Sisters Hospitallers, our mission thrives thanks to the collaboration of many: staff, volunteers, families, supporters, and friends. Each one plays a vital role in ensuring that everyone we accompany is welcomed with dignity, respect, and compassion. Volunteers, in particular, bring these values to life in tangible and meaningful ways.

From St Teresa’s Home in London, St Augustine’s Home in Addlestone, Footherley Hall Home in Shenstone, St Francis Xavier Hospital in Foso, Benedict Menni Rehabilitation Centre in Monrovia, to Benito Menni Hospital in Dompoase, volunteers generously offer their time, support daily activities, engage in conversation, and create moments of companionship. Through these actions, they help foster welcoming and supportive communities for all.

The impact of volunteers goes far beyond the tasks they perform. Every gesture of care, patience, and attention contributes to an environment where people feel valued and supported. Your presence is appreciated, and your contribution makes a meaningful difference every day.

On this International Volunteer Day, we extend our sincere gratitude to all volunteers across the English Delegation. Thank you for sharing your time and energy, and for helping us continue our mission of care with compassion and respect.
