Sisters Hospitallers are recruiting for a Part-Time HA at Footherley Hall Care Home, in Shenstone (Lichfield).

24 hours per week with a mixture of morning, afternoon and long day shifts,including alternative weekends. 

Job Role

We believe that happier employees provide a better level of patient care and delivery in their role. Therefore, you’ll receive regular training and supervisions, along with development opportunities. 

As a Healthcare Assistant you will look after our residents’ health, wellbeing and happiness. Your daily tasks may include helping with residents’ social activities, serving in the dining room, and tidying residents’ rooms. In addition, answering help bells, and assisting with their dressing and personal care.

Above all, you will help our residents feel comfortable and safe while they enjoy an exceptional quality of care. 

Skills and personal characteristics needed

Most importantly, we are looking for caring, compassionate individuals who are dedicated to helping others. Consequently, for this role: 

  • You must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of our home 
  • Current residency in the UK with valid right to work 
  • Willingness to make a difference 
  • Caring attitude 
  • Desire to see elderly people treated with care and respect 
  • Great communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care, or willingness to complete
  • Good computer skills
  • You’ll ideally have at least 6 months experience in a care setting

Up to £9.77 per hour, equivalent to £18,289 per annum.
